Fly Tying Cabin on the Rosebud.
The Stillwater River begins high in the mountains of the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness Area. The river flows for more than twenty miles through the wilderness area before leaving the mountains behind and spilling out into the rolling prairie and canyons of the Stillwater Valley.
The Stillwater River flows for another 45 miles through a mix of canyons, prairie and forest and is joined by the East Rosebud, and West Rosebud tributaries until meeting up with the Yellowstone River near the town of Columbus, Montana. With the majestic Beartooth Mountain range to the west of the valley, this area is known for its exceptional beautiful and is a popular destination for hiking, hunting, and fishing.
Red Lodge is a fun resort town nestled against Montana’s highest mountain peaks. Red Lodge is best know as a gateway to Yellowstone Park via the beautiful Beartooth Highway. It is also home to the Red Lodge Ski Resort, and Red Lodge Mountain Golf Course. Red Lodge has numerous restaurants and shops, and is located 30 miles from Lena’s Cabins.

Yellowstone National Park

Tippet Rise Art Center
Tippet Rise Art Center is located in Fishtail, Montana, against the backdrop of the Beartooth Mountains. Set on a 10,260-acre working sheep and cattle ranch, Tippet Rise hosts classical chamber music and recitals and exhibits large-scale, outdoor sculptures. Tippet Rise celebrates the concept that art, music, architecture, and nature are inextricably linked in the human experience, each making the others more powerful.
The Art Center features musical performance spaces indoors and out, with programs that seek to create memorable experiences for performers and audience members alike.
